Deepslate Redstone

Deepslate Redstone is a datapack that allows you to craft redstone components with Cobbled Deepslate and Blackstone instead of Cobblestone, and Deepslate instead of Stone
You can of course still use cobblestone and stone in the crafting recipes but now you can mix in Cobbled Deepslate and Blackstone!

NOTE: On 1.21.3, 1.21.4, 1.21.6, 1.21.7, and 1.21.8 when you add the datapack during world creation the game may tell you that the datapack whas made for an older version of Minecraft. This datapack is compatible with the newer versions so you can ignore this warning

you can use cobbled deepslate and blackstone in the following recipes:

• dispenser
• dropper
• lever
• observer
• piston

you can use deepslate in the following recipes:

• comparator
• repeater
• stone button

allow other items to replace (cobble)stone

this datapack also allows other mods or datapacks to add items to replace cobblestone or stone in redstone recipes by adding them to specific item tags:

• any items in the item tag #minecraft:stone_crafting_materials can replace cobblestone in redstone recipes

• any items in the item tag #deepslate_redstone:normal_stone_crafting_materials can replace stone in redstone recipes
