Oak's Geographic Expansion Modpack

This is an extremely heavy and experiemental modpack; things will break, the game will crash. Requires a beefy PC. Please use caution when starting a progressive survival world!

A modpack that focuses heavily on overhauling Overworld terrain generation, while adding new and quality-of life mods, along with new content, biomes, and more from various different mods! Minecraft 1.20.1 only.

Use with included Distant Horizons and Bliss shaders to fully appreciate the spanning terrain generation!!!

Enable all resource packs as well for the full experience!

Terrain Generation

Most prominently, the terrain generation in this modpack is completely new, and also customizable, featuring mods such as:

> Reterraforged

Allows full customization of terrain, making deeper caves, huge, flowing plains, and monstrous mountains possible.

> Oh the Biomes We've Gone

Adds a multitude of unique, whimsical biomes, breathtaking in their own right.

> Regions Unexplored

Adds new biomes and blocks to your world, expanding the diverse biome structure to enhance terrain variety. Compatible with Reterraforged and all other mods!

> Tectonic

(May not even function, but its here.) Enables and assists in moutain generation and flowing, wide spaces.

> Nullscape

Overhauls End generation!

> Incendium

Overhauls Nether gnereation (along with Regions Unexplored)!

Content and Quality of Life Mods

> Performance Mods

Includes the suite of performance mods, like Sodium, Entity Culling, Lazy DFU, and Starlight.

> Sound Mods

Includes Ambeint Environment and Ambient Sounds, Charmonium, Presence Footsteps, Sounds, and more!

Adds a multitude of structures, some challenging, some less. Includes Bygone Nether, Deeper and Darker, Dungeons and Taverns, End Remastered, Explorify, MES, When Dungeons Arise, and more!
