Ever missed being able to craft an Enchanted Golden Apple or chainmail armor? How about crafting saddles and horse armor for all types of horses?
OldCraft is here to bring back these lost recipes and more, including new items that were once part of the game.

? What It Adds

This mod restores several features that have been removed or were never craftable in vanilla Minecraft, including:

Craftable Items:

Chainmail Armor

Enchanted Golden Apples

Horse Armor for all types of horses

Additional Items:

Ruby and Ruby Ore (no longer in the game)

Grassless Dirt (a block that no longer generates naturally in the game)

Legacy Features like old dungeon generation and pre-1.14 village layouts (toggleable via config)

etc.

? Why You Might Want This

Do you miss the nostalgic features of older Minecraft versions, or just want more crafting options in your game? This mod brings back some of the best bits from past Minecraft updates, so you can experience them in the latest versions.
It’s perfect for modpacks, custom survival worlds, or anyone who loves exploring Minecraft’s history.

⚠ Compatibility Notes
This mod may conflict with other mods that add crafting recipes for the Enchanted Golden Apple, Horse Armor, or other removed content. Be sure to check for recipe conflicts if you’re using multiple mods that restore legacy items.

Minecraft: 1.12.2 through 1.21.x

Loaders: NeoForge,Forge, Quilt,Fabric(Quilt, Fabric version 1.20.1 is the only version we plan to support!) Datapack　(Support for the Datapack version has ended!)
❌ Other mod loaders aren’t supported at the moment.

Download the mod file from the modrinth page..jar

Drop the file into your Minecraft folder..jarmods
