This is a "pure" player level mod, just like what you see displayed next to most game titles, but it doesn't offer any rewards.

You level up every time you accumulate 15*level in experience points. The level is for display purposes only and does not provide any actual bonuses or effects. Enter the command /function player_level:settings to open the settings (This feature has been removed from the Lite version).

In the Lite version, you can look down while collecting experience orbs to check your level progress.
Or type /trigger Look-Level to view your EXP progress and your level.
