Notch deleted this update back in 2010. Something got into the code. Years later, someone found the lost build and patched it back together.

Survival

You are running a version that was never meant to exist. The world looks like old Alpha — but there are some things. Things that shouldn't be there.

Mobs are rare. Animals are few. The silence is louder than you remember.

• New farming mechanics (crops, cooking, livestock)
• Updated Nether generation (but nether doesnt work?)
• Improved fog rendering (denser, closer, heavier)
• Proximity voice chat (Pretty useful if you are lazy to type in the chat)
• New advancement toast design (cool and quirky animations)
• New world animations (Adds simple animations to doors, trapdoors, etc.)

• Singleplayer recommended (multiplayer works but strange things happen)
