What is Krylix?

Krylix is a client-side kill feed and PvP tracking mod for Minecraft Forge. It shows every kill in real time with player and mob heads, weapon icons, and a health readout, tracks hostile-mob kills for your world, gives you a crosshair health indicator, and adds a real in-game leaderboard screen for both PvP and mob-kill rankings — all fully configurable and translated into 13 languages.

Kill Feed Display

• Real player skins - shows actual player heads with correct textures
• 27 verified mob head textures, checked against the real game files (not guessed)

Mob Kill Stats Panel

A small panel tracking how many of each hostile mob you've killed in the current world. Persists across restarts.

Health Indicator

A compact HP readout above whatever entity is under your crosshair, from an extended range - not limited to normal interaction distance. Four bar styles to choose from: Blocks, ASCII, Dots, or Number Only.

Player Leaderboard

A real in-game screen, not a chat dump. Two tabs:

• PvP - kills, deaths, and K/D ratio per player
• Mob Kills - players ranked by how many mobs they've personally killed

Scrollable, with pagination for large player counts, and your own row highlighted so you can always find yourself.

Full Configuration Screen

Every setting is reachable in-game (Esc - Mods - Krylix - Config): kill feed timing and limits, panel toggles, health bar style, and a server-side option to restrict kill feed broadcasts to players in the same dimension.

Default Keybinds

No setup needed - these work out of the box:

• K - toggle kill feed
• L - toggle mob stats panel
• O - open the leaderboard
• H - toggle health indicator

Toggling any HUD element gives you a sound and an on-screen confirmation, so it's always clear whether it worked.

Localization

Fully translated into 13 languages: English, Russian, Belarusian, Ukrainian, Polish, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese (Taiwan), German, Swedish, Dutch, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, and French. Switching your Minecraft language updates everything - settings, keybind names, leaderboard, and messages.

Supported Mobs

27 mob face textures, individually verified against the game's actual models and textures:

Zombie, Husk, Drowned, Zombie Villager, Skeleton, Wither Skeleton, Stray, Creeper, Spider, Cave Spider, Piglin, Piglin Brute, Zombified Piglin, Blaze, Ghast, Witch, Pillager, Vindicator, Evoker, Silverfish, Endermite, Iron Golem, Snow Golem, Enderman, Ravager, Warden, Wither

Mobs with more complex model geometry (Slime, Magma Cube, Guardian, Shulker, Phantom, Ender Dragon, and a few others) show a neutral icon instead of a guessed, possibly-wrong texture.

Requirements

• Minecraft: 1.20.1
• Mod Loader: Forge 47.1.0+
• Java: 17 or higher
• Dependencies: KotlinForForge 4.3.0 (bundled)
• Side: Client-side features work standalone; PvP/mob-kill tracking and the leaderboard sync from the server, so install on both for the full experience

Installation

1. Download the latest version from Modrinth
2. Install Forge 1.20.1-47.1.0 if not already present
3. Place the JAR file in your .minecraft/mods/ folder
4. Launch Minecraft with the Forge profile
5. Done - the kill feed appears automatically, everything else is one keypress away

Commands

Server-side (requires OP):

• /krylix toggle - enable/disable the kill feed server-wide
• /krylix status - show current kill feed status

Client-side:

• /krylix hud toggle / clear / count - manage the kill feed HUD (same as pressing K)

Most day-to-day interaction is through the keybinds above - commands are mainly for server admins.
