The origin caps mod Used for making it so only so many people can be one origin has a bug where players are softlocked in the origin selection GUI. The choose origin button is replaced with "Awaiting Server Response". There is a solution to this, however. You can remove it from the client but leave it on the server and it will work! Only problem now, is that you can try to select an origin at its cap and the result will be getting changed to the empty origin. The empty origin is a placeholder origin for when you dont have an origin selected. It essentially makes you immortal which happens to not be good. The solution? This data pack freezes you in place if you have the empty origin, and prompts you to select an origin while telling you how. Putting this data pack on the server alongside origin caps in addition to removing origin caps from the client side will allow the origin limiting function to work on your server!
