A modular RPG expansion for Minecraft

Overview

Beasts of Vale: Mounts & Creatures adds unique, rideable animals to your Minecraft world. Each creature fits into the medieval fantasy theme of Vale, with custom mechanics and special movement abilities to suit different playstyles.

All mounts share these base features:

• Rideable with a saddle
• Can be leashed
• Can be bred
• Has its own inventory (functions like a chest)
• Comes in three biome-based variants:
  • Warm – desert-type areas
  • Cold – snowy areas
  • Normal – plains and forests

This release introduces two distinct mounts, each with their own strengths:

• Chocobo – a large, fast bird-like mount inspired by classic RPGs
• Giant Frog – a bouncy amphibian perfect for vertical mobility and swampy terrain

Chocobo Features

• Faster movement speed
• Higher temper (harder to tame)
• Can glide and takes reduced fall damage

How to Get a Chocobo

Feed Torchflowers to a chicken — it will transform into a Chocobo mount!

Giant Frog Features

• Normal movement speed
• Lower temper (easier to tame)
• Can jump very high and traverse uneven terrain with ease

How to Get a Giant Frog

Feed Spider Eyes to a frog — it will transform into a Giant Frog mount!
