Skip the Spider Slaughter

You know the drill. You want a bow, a fishing rod, a lead — and Minecraft says, “Go fight spiders.” So you wait for night, dodge creepers, and hope the drop gods are kind. Or worse… you punch cobwebs in mineshafts like a caveman. And if that fails? Time to grind emeralds and beg a Fletcher for a trade.

This datapack says: nah. Just craft the string and get on with your build

? Why It’s Better

Because string is used in everything — bows, leads, fishing rods, tripwires — but somehow still locked behind mobs and trades. Whether you're building redstone traps, leashing your pets, or just trying to craft in peace, this pack gives you control without the grind.

? How to Use:

1. Download the .zip

2. Drop it into your world’s datapacks/ folder

3. Type /reload in-game

4. Start crafting your string and skip the spider shift
