ABOUT THE MODPACK

Create: Aerospace is a modpack designed around the Create: Aeronautics and Creating Space mods, it is meant to be played on a dedicated server (though it can also be played on singleplayer), the modpack can be used and redistributed freely.

REQUIRED CLIENT SIDE SETUP

Make sure to allocate 8gb of RAM to your minecraft instance for an optimal experience, also make sure to configure the graphics settings and distant horizons settings within the game so it runs at an acceptable framerate (tested on a gtx 1060, giving around 130 fps with 8 chunks and all graphics settings in fast, and distant horizons in setting 3 for quality and cpu usage).

REQUIRED SERVER SIDE SETUP

The server run file already comes with some basic configurations done, you can change the RAM allocation in the user_jvmargs.txt file by changing the -Xms12G and -Xmx12G lines and assigning a different number (ALLOCATING MORE RAM IS NOT RECOMMENDED)_, the server file comes configured with custom launch flags and 12GB of RAM, which should be enough for 10 players to play at the same time.

Additional config is required in the server side for Simple Voice Chat to work and for BlueMap to work, if you will be using those mods, search for tutorials on how to set them up, if not, just delete them.

It is highly recommended to pregenate the terrain with the server empty, to do so enter the following commands in the cmd where the server is running:

chunky shape circle

chunky radius (radius in blocks for the world to pregen)

chunky start

(Mind that the larger the radius, the longer the time the server will take to pregenerate the terrain).
