This datapack changes ore generation to improve the progression in minecraft. Better ores now generate deeper than before and all ores have their specific biome where they generate more abundantly.

• Coal : swamp, mangrove swamp
• Copper : savanna, dripstone caves
• Iron : taiga and old growth taiga
• Diamond : ice spikes
• Lapis : desert
• Gold : mesa and badlands
• Redstone : jungle
• Emeralds : forest, birch forest, dark forest, pale garden, lush caves

I recommend using the villager trade rebalance experiment with this datapack for best experience. Also try my other datapack, I recommend Rare villages, it pairs well with the trade rebalance experimental features.

This datapack will be updated in the future to help discover this information in the game. For now I will include the ore distribution chart in the file and on the datapack page.
