Mystical Remnants adds artifacts that are scattered across the world in three types of temples

• Weapon
• Armor
• Books

When holding one of these items you gain a different buff for each one

Weapons

There are multiple types of weapons these are:
(weapon-buff-ability)

• Syith-Night vision-10 damage to all entities in 20 blocks
• Sword-Regeneration-Give the plague all entities in 20 blocks
• Dagger-Haste-Slowness to all entities in 20 blocks
• Longsword-Leaping-Poison all entities in 20 blocks
• Greatsword
• Hammer-Strength-Explosion
• Hand Axe-Saturation-Spawn 3 iron golems
• Battle Axe-Speed-Lightning strike all entities in 20 blocks
• Staff-Hero of the Village-Heal and tame(you can only tame the ones that are tamable) all entities in 20 blocks
• Katana-Fire resistance-Shoot a Fireball
• Glaive-5 more hearts-Give Levitation to all entities in 20 blocks

Each one serves its purpose

Armor

Armor protects you we all know that so there are now more of them

Here is a list of them:

• Lava King

Books

Each book has its special traits with a bit of a story in it too
