Survive. Adapt. Evolve.

KumoDesu: Ascension is a massive system-driven progression and RPG mod inspired by the anime and light novel So I'm a Spider, So What?. It completely overhauls Minecraft's traditional progression, throwing you into a harsh world where you must fight from the absolute bottom of the food chain up to ultimate sovereignty.

Whether playing single-player or multiplayer, an invisible System dictates the rules of survival.

?️ The Reincarnation Experience

Forget everything you know about Minecraft survival. Your journey begins with a choice.

• Choose Your Path: Reincarnate as a Spider (starting as an incredibly weak Small Lesser Taratect), a Human, a Goblin, or even a Wyrm.
• Dynamic Evolution Tree: Reach your level cap through combat experience and choose your next evolution. Each choice permanently alters your visual model, grants massive stat boosts, and awards new skill points (SP).

⚔️ Master the System

The System governs everything. To survive, you must understand it and bend it to your will.

• Massive Skill Arsenal: Learn over 110 unique skills currently registered in the mod, ranging from combat and magic to perception and powerful passives.
• Develop, Don't Unlock: Skills aren't just handed to you. Use your abilities repeatedly to increase their proficiency. Maxing out a skill naturally evolves it into a higher-tier, devastatingly powerful version.
• Custom RPG Stats: Manage crucial attributes including HP, MP, SP (Yellow and Red for stamina), Attack, Defense, Magic, Resistance, and Speed.
• Interactive UI: Manage your complex web of abilities through a dedicated custom Skill Management screen and specialized HUD.

Survival isn't just about hitting hard; it's about knowing your enemy and adapting to the threat.

Knowledge is Power: The Appraisal System

You are blind to the world's true nature until you level up your Appraisal skill. By scanning entities and items, the System reveals hidden attributes, health bars, and capabilities. A high-level Appraisal skill is the difference between blindly walking into a boss fight and strategically knowing your enemy's weaknesses.

Survive the Labyrinth's Monsters

Face off against custom mobs straight from the Great Elroe Labyrinth! Fight packs of vicious Elroe Randanels, avoid acidic blasts from massive Elroe Frogs, and battle rival Taratect spiders. They aren't just vanilla mobs—they possess their own RPG stats, stamina pools, and skills, making every encounter a tactical fight.

Master the Magic Tiers

Discover and utilize equipment with custom NBT-driven traits. Our custom equipment system unlocks magical capabilities far beyond traditional enchantments.

• Titles System: The System is always watching. Earn unique titles that reward you with passive buffs and exclusive skills for your in-game achievements and milestones.
