BiomeBlade introduces a lightweight PvP mechanic where the biome you fight in directly affects weapon damage output. Each weapon type has biomes where it excels and biomes where it struggles.

Weapon Damage Modifiers

• Swords: 25% bonus damage in plains and savanna; 20% reduced damage in swamps and jungles
• Axes: 25% bonus damage in taiga and dark forest; reduced damage in deserts and badlands
• Tridents: Significant advantage in ocean, river, and beach biomes; reduced effectiveness in mesa and desert
• Crossbows: Excel in snowy and mountainous terrain; underperform in humid environments

Technical Details

The system uses the execute if biome command to detect the current combat location and applies damage modifiers through attribute manipulation when players land hits. Biome conditions are checked only when damage events occur to maintain minimal performance impact.

Gameplay Impact

Terrain selection becomes tactical, encouraging players to lure opponents into favorable biomes or avoid disadvantageous engagements. Territorial control and map knowledge become genuine combat advantages.

Server Requirements

No permissions or operator commands required for players. Works seamlessly in survival multiplayer servers.
