Too many ores cluttering your world?

ReducedOres is a lightweight and highly compatible mod that lowers ore generation to bring back balance, challenge, and meaning to mining.

🔻 What it does:

• 📉 Reduces ore spawn rates across all dimensions,
• 🔘 Shrinks ore vein size (blob size) to avoid massive ore clusters,
• ⚙️ Fully configurable via the mod’s config file — tweak rates and sizes,
• 🔄 Works seamlessly with vanilla and modded ores from dozens of mods.

• Range: 0.01 ~ 1.0

• ore_size_multiplier = 1

• Chance for ore generation (0.01 - 1.0)

• Range: 0.01 ~ 1.0

• ore_generation_chance = 0.01

• List of custom ore names that should be affected (e.g. ancient_debris)

• Format: modid:ore_name or just ore_name for minecraft

• List of ore names that should be EXCLUDED from reduction.
