Runes

Welcome to the Runes mod, a mod where you can craft runes from armor trims. Perfect for rpg/magic modpacks!

What are Runes? Runes are placeable blocks crafted from minecraft's armor trims that when right-clicked, will buff a circular area for a set amount of time. These buffs are all helpful to the player, and cannot be used against other players. All runes have their own area size, which can range from 2 blocks to 50 blocks.

What Runes are there?
Fire Rune: Burns all hostile entities in the area for a medium duration

Grass Rune: Bonemeals every block in the area for a very short duration

Mine Rune: Grants haste to players in the area for a long duration

Fairy Rune: Grants creative flight to players in the area for a very long duration.

Sand Rune: Weakens and slows all hostile entities in the area for a short duration

Shield Rune: Creates a spherical shield around the player that no one can enter or exit for a short duration

Time Rune: Freezes time for every entity in the area for a medium duration (projectiles don't work yet)

Warp Rune: Teleports the player to their spawn location after the Rune ends (very short duration)

Explosion Rune: Explodes any entity that enters the area, however the Rune gets destroyed after a entity explodes (infinite duration until triggered)

Ocean Rune: Grants dolphin's Grace and water breathing in the area for a long duration

Planned Runes: Rune for Rib trim, Vex trim, and coast trim
If the mod does well, we will update it to later versions with newer trims.
