?Pre-historical Fantasy Origins?

This origins datapack currently adds 5 new dinosaur-themed origins, each with a twist that adds something fantastical to their concept.

?Astroptera - "Star Wing"? Winged creatures of the stars, dominating the night sky as they outshine all others. - Tier 1 - Flight [Sprint]: Spread your glorious wings to soar across the skies like a shooting star! - All-Seeing Star: You can use your senses to detect creatures through nearby surfaces. - Solar Cry [Primary]: Every 10 seconds, you can release a solar beam attack to damage your enemies. - Circadian Rhythm: The light of the sun limits your abilities, whereas the moon's light grants you greater power, as you absorb its pure magic. - Screech [Secondary]: You unleash a powerful cry. All entities within a 6 block radius are launched away a distance from you. - Nocturnal: You are physically unable to rest at night, as if a greater power wills you to stay awake. - Starshine: Your body glows to creatures that see it. ?‍♂️Styradromeus - "Spiked Runner"?‍♂️ The little predecessor of a once greater dinosaur! - Tier 2 - Tracking: You are an adept hunter, able to track those you have begun to hunt. - Charge [Primary]: You can charge forward into enemies, knocking them back. - Slash [Secondary]: Leap forwards, swiping at anything infront with your claws. - Thief: When crouching near somebody for long enough without anything in your mainhand, you're able to right click on them to force them to drop whatever they're holding in their mainhand. - Momentum: Your powerful legs allow you to build up to faster speeds. - All fours!: When there's nothing in your hands, you move faster. - Wall Runner: You are descended from an apex predator, able to traverse even the steepest cliffs. - Carnivore: Eating anything other than meat can be harmful to you. - Strong Culture: You refuse to wear any armour other than dyed leather. ?Rex-Inferorum - "King of Hell"? A great lumbering beast of the Nether. - Tier 2 - Hellfire Roar [Primary]: You unleash a burning roar of power, decimating any creature near you, and launching them away. - Fire Immunity: Your blood heralds from the nether, granting you resistance against even the hottest temperatures. - Armoured Body: You are covered in thick bony plates, which protect you from danger. - Large Body: Due to your ancestry, you are noticeably larger than the average creature. - Store Momentum [Crouch]: Holding crouch allows you to store momentum that can be then released in a single jump, or press your secondary to cancel it. - Petravore [Attack]: Due to a lack of food in the nether, your ancestors adapted to absorbing nutrients within stone and coal. - Heavy weight: You're too heavy to swim, and sink to the bottom of the water. - Extinguish: Water is not good for you. You can deal with it in small amounts, but your tolerance is limited. ⚫Umbraloch - "Shadow Hunter"⚫ A master of disguise, capable of being one with the darkness. - Tier 3 - Hide [Crouch]: You are so adept at hiding, that you are able to seemingly hide from the world itself. - Bloodlust: Instead of using hunger points, you feed on xp. You gan xp when you hit a creature, feeding your need for violence. - Frail: Due to your smaller, stealthier body, you can't take as many hits as normal. - Right Behind You: When you get hit, teleport behind the person who hit you. - Shadow Merge: The darker it gets, the more invisible you become. ?Dilitranoidon - "Poison-Toothed Breather"? A particularly toxic creature - Tier 1 - Gas Burst [Secondary]: Releases a powerful Gas that temporarily paralyses and poisons nearby creatures. - Tainted Sight: After being exposed to your toxic gas constantly, your eyes aren't as effective as they would be. - Scavenge [Primary]: You can scavenge for food around your immediate area. [64 block distance between scavenges, with a 1-minute cooldown in each area). - Decreased Bone Density: In order to launch yourself, you are much lighter, and therefore can't take as many hits. - Gas Launch [Jump]: Use high pressure gas to launch yourself forward. - Piscivore: You're unable to digest tough meats, and can only eat fish.
