Fish Traps

Automate fishing without standing around. Fish Traps let you place an underwater trap, insert a fishing rod, and passively catch fish while you play.

The trap uses vanilla fishing mechanics and loot tables, so everything stays balanced and familiar.

How It Works

1. Place the trap underwater (it must be waterlogged)
2. Insert a fishing rod into the trap’s GUI
3. The trap automatically fishes over time
4. Collect items from the output slots or extract them with a hopper

Open Water Requirements

To qualify as open water, the trap must have:

• 2 blocks of water in every horizontal direction
• At least 1 block of water above the trap
